When upgrading from cubase 12 to cubase 15 do I have to install new libraries, plugins etc. I only have 126 gigabytes left on my C drive(Windows 10)and I think they want 85 gigabytes for the upgrade..is there anyway around using all that space.. I have another 1 1/2 gigabytes on another ssd inside the computer but not sure if I can upgrade cubase 15 to that drive or not.please advise
Only the Cubase 15 program is necessary, which occupies around 2GB. Anything else is optional.
Plus the optional content can go into your other drive.
All my Cubase content, Instruments, libraries, pre-sets, samples etc I keep on a large usb external drive.
You can move stuff using the Steinberg library manager.
Program files like Cubase keep on the C drive.
All works fine (and quick) for me.
Everything worked out..thank you
