When using Overlay wrong notes are seemingly selected

I’m using Cubase 11 score mode, but can’t do many things with overlay tool, as videos on internet show people doing.
Maybe the video attached can explain better than me, but looks like a bug, cause don’t make any sense that you try to make some modifications in certain note[s lenght, and it effect another one.
What am I doing wrong?

Is the track in Linear Timebase? There is an old bug that might cause this.

Maybe It’s not something you’ve done, it’s something you need to do.

In Score Settings you need to set up the interpretation options.

Hey Steve, thanks for replying.
It is in linear, but tested musical mode now, with any changes
I got it…but I would like to have less rests apearing, without need to go to the smallest rest possible to the whole thing…cause I have only one 16th/triplet in the whole song, and choosing so small, I got to redo hundreds of other lenghts again. It’s not so fast as it could doing this way!!!

In Score Settings you need to set up the interpretation options.

Ok man…actually I got it now!!!
Thanks for your help.
