When will 6.5 be updated?

It has been since September and 6.5.4 was a “pre-release”.

I know that version 7 is the main focus but 6.5.4 has been fairly buggy and 6.5 deserves a stable final version for those who can’t or won’t upgrade to version 7.

6.5.3 here and its pretty dam stable!

It is stable enough, agreed, but I also look forward to the best that 6.5 can be. I now suspect that 7 has captured all the attention of Steinberg and it’s update is primary. That said, NAMM is sometimes a break point for some products and their updates so one can always hope.

Helge Vogt previously replied there will be a final 6.5.5 in 2013.

Alright, C7 is updated so C6.5 cannot be too far behind! He says with guarded enthusiasm…

Will there be a final 6.5 release in 2013? If yes, when? Will it include new features? e.g. Track presets (per C7 7.0.2 release)?

All we know is this: Before Cubase 7 can we have a working 6? - Cubase - Steinberg Forums. I wouldn’t count too much on new features though…
