Where and how to delete thumbnails of a videoclip?

Hello,
I would like to delete the thumbnails of a video file that is more than 2 hours long, as I have saved the project again as a backup and the thumbnails have been regenerated.
Where can I find the thumbnails from the first version?
Cubase 15 / Windows 11

Ooph. Without ever having checked, I would look in the project folder’s subfolder called “Images”.
When I get back to my Cubase computer I can check.

I think its a *.v2cache file that’s stored in the location of the actual video file (wherever that may be found)

I think that one’s just for holding drawings of the audio peak (waveform) files, found on the Arrange page.

Pumas hint was right.

There is a v2Cache (in my case of 117MB) placed next to the original video-file. That seems to be “the one”.

Now that you mention it… I remember seeing these files on occassion.
