Where are my Program Ratings stored?

Well I’m tempted by Sb’s latest offer on 7. Looks a good crossgrade from Kontakt. But…I like to go through each collection and give a rating to sounds I expect to use frequently. So say in Trip I give a 5 star rating…where is that rating stored? I know that HALion remembers it the next time I start it up. But suppose I need to reinstall HALion after say a computer problem, it won’t remember my 5 star choices without me telling it where to look. I’ve been caught out with this before with HALion Sonic and it can be pretty frustrating to lose the ratings I have spent a fair bit of time on. Help anyone?

Sorry I should have said

…say in Trip I give a 5 star rating to Arps & Chords 1…

Your MediaBay database is stored in the following folder:

Windows:
%appdata%\Roaming\Steinberg\Steinberg MediaBay Server

MacOs:
/Users/[Username]/Library/Preferences/Steinberg MediaBay Server

This database is now shared between Halion 7, Halion Sonic 7, and modern versions of Cubase/Nuendo. In other words, if you rate a preset 5 stars, this rating will be reflected in all three applications in almost real-time.

Oh right. I didn’t realize it was in the MediaBay Server folder. Many thanks.
