Where Are The Midi & Instrument Track Files Stored?

I know a project’s audio track files (by default) are stored in a folder named “Cubase Projects/Project Name/Audio”. These files show up in the pool and can be imported/exported/renamed etc. from there. But where are the files for the midi and instrument tracks stored? Thanks.

They are stored directly in the .cpr file. You can, of course, export them to MIDI files if you like.

So it is not an actual midi file until it is exported from the track shown in the project window?
