As above, realitme hardware panning L<>R and F<>B is so important?
Even though remote says its Quick Control focus is panner, the parameters of the encoders still point to the previous window values?
I can set the track QC then route it there but I dont want it there…just the same as all the other plugins
Yeah that seems to have been overlooked or a missed opportunity. Pulling up the multipanner doesn’t get you the automatic assignments like a plugin would. In fact, despite having default remote mappings it doesn’t even have the Focus QC drop down functionality for some strange reason.
The only workaround I see is what you’re already doing, Track QC. If you haven’t already, making a QC preset for it might get you going a little less painfully in the meantime.

I use a small controller for all this static placement and larger unit for.mix/track so im not interested in track control…i simply need consistent behaviour esp as thos surround panner is exclusively for fx send (where u close your eyes and feel it)
