Where is 64bit on the mac?

So I finally decided to go mac. Bought a Macbook Pro, upgraded it with an SSD and 16gig of Ram, installed Cubase 5 and…no 64 bit!? This hardware upgrade has cost me over 2500 euro’s!

Well…at least I can’t find the 64 bit installer on the DVD for mac. Is it possible?

Better check to see if your Mac supports 64 bit.

I have a 2012 Macbook pro, Mountain Lion operates exclusively in 64 bit.

So, yes.

Cubase Mac 64-bit only exists as of Cubase 6.
But Cubase 5 will, of course run as a 32-bit app even on the most recent Mac OS.
