Is the “Make Chord Symbols” analyzer gone in the C14 Score Editor? If not, where is it located?
BTW, the Score Editor looks awesome so far!
Thanks,
Ricardo

I’m afraid that has indeed gone for now.
Aha! I see a work around that accomplishes what I want, which is to allow me to record a midi track of chords from my piano keyboard and then have Cubase figure out the chord names and show them above the music in the score view.
I’m guessing everyone who cares already knew this so forgive my “enthusiasm for the obvious”.
It is not foolproof since Cubase doesn’t recognize some of my more obscure chords, eg Ebm7(sus2)

In Cubase 14 - Score Editor , where is the “C7” symbol which used to be on the top tool bar which allowed Cubase to automatically detect the chords of a selected piano part
Hi Zubinb3,
It seems that this C7 button with this function is not included in C14 according to Stefan. The work around I mention can give similar results (I think this is true but is yet unconfirmed by Steinberg).
There is a C7 button in C14 Score Editor but this operates differently. You have to enter the chord name manually. I’m not sure but it seems that the chord shows up in a chord track as well when I used it.
I will miss the C13 type C7 button but am so happy with the new Score Editor I will get over it.
