The resolution is obviously allowing the button to simply be latched and accessible from remote surface.
I use VCAs a lot as its simplifies when you can simply hide everything else and only be concerned with the overview
however for basic initial balance, you need to be able to set all VCA to unity and get the sub elements into the ballpark. which means I might spend 10 mins and need suspend to be on during that time.
I dont think is an uncommon need, has been asked multiple times and its approaching more than 10 years ago waiting to get this solved.
It reasonable that any intermediate or power user needs this…for various reasons (icluding the group eq etc)
Can we please please get this sorted. This is why I dont upgrade…the tiny workflow details that save so much time. Sure I can use the mouse…which I have to but I only use for balanced loading and using a mouse to do essentially menu driving is very IT 1990s…muscle mem for a shortcut is the optimal and cubase is a pro DAW…right?
