Hi everyone, I’m sorry if this subject has been tackled before. I’m very new to Dorico. I have been a long time user of Sibelius. My issue is this, I’ve just downloaded Dorico SE and for the life of me I can’t find my Download Activation Code, any ideas? Thanks for your help.
You should have become a Download Access Code sent to your E-MAil Address from Steinberg.
Log in to your Steinberg Account and there turn in that Acces Code
Welcome to the forum, Piero. With Dorico SE, you don’t get sent a Download Access Code any longer: you can simply run Steinberg Download Assistant and sign in with your Steinberg ID account, and you should find Dorico SE listed under My Product Downloads on the left-hand side.

that obligatory Access Code kept many from trying Dorico SE.
You still need to request a Dorico SE license using your Steinberg ID, but you don’t need to actively handle the Download Access Code – all of that is done behind the scenes.

Go here:
Click the Download For Free button at the top of the page. You’ll then be prompted to sign in with your Steinberg ID. Once you’ve signed in, and consented to receive our newsletter (you can always unsubscribe later on), you’ll be assigned your Dorico SE license. After that, you can simply run Steinberg Download Assistant to download and install it, and once it’s installed, running Dorico SE will cause Steinberg Activation Manager to launch: again, sign in with your Steinberg ID, and that should be it. You’ll be up and running.
