I am a Halion-7 user. I have downloaded the free Halion-7.5 update (twice) but can not find it on my PC.
Where is it?
Is it not free?
I was expecting the download to update me to Halion 7.5 but it is nowhere to be found?

Halion 7.5 still looks like Halion 7 at first glance. It also displays Halion 7 on the vst instrument window. You can tell that it’s actually Halion 7.5 by clicking on the "about " tab or the Halion 7 logo. Or you check the version number in the Plugin Manager (or check for new features).
After updating Halion 7 via Steinberg Download Manager you should automatically have Halion 7.5 in Cubendo (disguised with the old Halion 7 label…
).
There is definitely something wrong with these downloads.
After installation, the Halion Sonic 7.5 seems to function, but the 7.5 Standalone version hangs up.
It would also be nice if the versions were properly labelled as ‘7.5’.
Okay, so Halion 7.5 is installed and works in your DAW. Actually, a proper “7.5” lable would have been nice, I’m with you.
With regard to the standalone: How do you open it and have you checked for proper audio connections?
