Hi, I have a fresh installation of Cubase Artist and a fresh Installation of Komplete on the same SSD. Cubase has noticed 2 VST instruments and a number of VST effects, but it will not give me access to the main collections of samples - drums, keys, strings etc…
I have not heard them yet. I want them in cubase to assign to different tracks.
However, I realise that they are samples and might not be VST instruments.
I have got Battery & Massive running, presumably because they are synths?

It sounds like you are asking about Kontakt? Do you own Kontakt? If so, it will show up as a VST and your sample libraries are inside Kontakt.
