Where is the lower row with tempo, signature, etc?

Some song I open lack.

There’s a bit in there about splitting the interface. I’m not at my studio, so exact wording escapes me.

Nothing ther, but display of time or beats, locator positions, cycle.

Go to the cog, just above that. You’re looking for the “Transport Bar” Tick on that one.

Or use the default Ctrl+Alt+T

status line, info line and controller lane are all that are there and checked (X)

Hey, in the first screenshot I can barely make out that the Transport Bar is actually there in the bottom. (See that outline, and that solid gray of (probably) “Stop”?)

So the question(s) are.

  1. Is the bar actually hidden behind the Windows’ Taskbar?
  2. What happens if you maximize Cubase?

This is full screen.

Right. So from that maximized position, what happens if you use Ctrl+Alt+T? Does it show up at last?

BTW

From what I gather you have 2 screens. Normally, if you double click on the top bar of the Cubase window, it would maximize, and the bottom transport bar would fit just above the Windows Taskbar.

But. If you have “Auto-Hide” enabled for the Windows Taskbar, AND some other programs are running at the same time (like instant messengers that just received a message, or browsers that have finished doing something), windows taskbar will creep up and hide the otherwise visible transport bar until you click once on the windows taskbar. At that point it will revert to auto-hide, unless another round of activity (incoming message, finished download, etc, causes it to pop up again.)

I get this at times and it’s a bit annoying.

A miracle, it does, thanks!
