Why is it so hard to download I S expression maps?
Because it is not really necessary. You can create your own with just a couple of mouse-clicks per instrument.
Open the Key Editor for a MIDI part, expand the Expression Map section in the left zone. Then click on the field which reads Halion Sonic and click “Import Key Switches”. Done.
Don’t forget to save the Expression Maps that you created this way.

Thank you Johnny, but can you tell me where you imported the maps from, and how you saved them.
The maps are inside each instrument. If you follow my guide above they will be transferred from the instrument into Cubase. Click on “Import Key Switches”.
But what if you are working via the Vienna Ensemble Pro server? Halion doesn’t come into play…
Contact the maker of VE Pro and request the feature that their plugin transmits the data.
