Steinberg is sorely missing an official Youtube instructional channel.
Opening Cubasis 3 is like getting into the cockpit of a jet with no training.
First things first.
I want to import a file.
No “File” Menu.
Lots of black space on the top line that could have links such as “File > Import > Wav/Midi/MP3…”
Ok, the help button [?]
Type in “MIDI” and get a black screen. URGGG!!!
Please, a simple PDF, HTML, DOC or even plain old text help file from the developers.
Correction- Make that read:
Opening Cubasis 3 is like getting into the cockpitof a jet with no training.
The few Youtube movies are on version 2.
The help file built in is limited (as are all), but would still be helpful if in an external file.
Switching between a DAW interface on a smartphone and a built in help system is a joke (not good).
An external file could be viewed on a different app, or better yet on another tablet or PC.
There are all kinds of apps for performing compound and boolean searches that simply cannot be accomplished with the current built in help system.
Repeating: Please, a simple PDF, HTML, DOC or even plain old text help file from the developers.

Thank you for your message.
Unfortunately, Cubasis comes with an in-app help which is exclusively available in the app itself (similar to other apps).
Please note that we have lots of tutorials available, which should be very helpful in getting started with Cubasis in no time.
While these have been produced for iOS, and some of them maybe a few years old, the steps are all the same - no matter if Cubasis LE, Cubasis 1, Cubasis 2 or Cubasis 3. Alongside, it doesn’t matter if you use the app o the iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone or tablet. The only exception are demos of features, which may not be available on Android.
