which criteria to show up in the GUI thumb preview ?

Hi,

It seems like some VSTi (from both Steinberg and third-party companies) show up in Cubase Pro 8.5’s new MediaBay “vsti GUI Thumb preview” Side Panel while others don’t, hence the question : why ?

Unfortunately this is not possible at this time… Only Steinberg content is displayed.

But it seems you have some third party plugins displayed as you said, can you tell which ones please ? (mine are not :frowning:)
Even if it would be possible, it is not clear how…

I created a request for being able to add third party stuff in the MediaBay Thumbs (or More Easily).
I also did a little video about what we want :wink:

Third party instruments displayed have in common being old and jbridged : ASET-2121, Crazy Diamonds, Daedalus, Minimogue and Monolisa. They show up with a generic thumb, as the attached screen capture demonstrates. [Device\Plug-in Manager] seems to explains why: their vendor info was incorrectly tagged as “Steinberg Media Technologies” by their developers.

Unfortunately this seems to confirm that only Steinberg products are visible in the MediaBay Thumbnails…
