Which Cubase are you using? The migration from x86 to x64.

Cubase will open a project regardless of if it was created in 32bit or 64bit version. What won’t open are the plugins. So if you load VSTi’s that eat like 8 gigs of ram and load the project in Cubase 32bit it will probably crash even if the plugins are 32bit as well because the 32bit version of the program is not able to handle so much ram.
On the other side, if you try and open a project that was created in Cubase 32 in Cubase 64 then the plugins should be bridged or they won’t load at all and in the worst case Cubase will crash as well.

But if it’s only audio that you have both versions will open happily the project.

It does, thanks. After a long bout of troubleshooting I’m going to do a final clean install and will add the x86 version to the list.
