I recently started producing music with Cubasis on my iPad mini. Now I would like to buy a DAW controller (not a controller with a keyboard, as I already have a Novation Launchkey). I am particularly interested in fader and transport control.
I tested the Korg Nanokontrol Studio, but was very disappointed (there was no feedback on a small display showing which track I was currently on, it felt very plasticky, etc.).
I’ve also scoured various blogs online, e.g., on products from PreSonus and Behringer. I particularly like Behringer (look, feel, display, motorized faders), but I often read about incomplete integration with Cubasis.
Which DAW controllers (especially those with a small scribble strip/display and fader(s)) do you use?
Which of these controllers work best with Cubasis on the iPad?
