Havent worked in Cuebase for awhile, but I remember the MIDI controller I had at that time always had issues with cuebase. Is there a brand that is more seemless with cubase?
I never really had problems with any midi controllers since manufactors switched to usb midi controllers, maybe it was some problems back in the days of needing midi interfaces for timing. I worked on many brands like Native Instruments, Nektar, Presonus, Novation, Arturia, M-Audio and Akai. Right now I feel like Arturia is giving me the best midi controller quality vs integration vs price.. but who knows what your needs are? Anyways all of the mentioned above worked just fine for me in the last 10 years.
