Which networking/anti-virus tools do you use for your DAW?

Same here!

Hi there horny  Which part(s) is the same?

I use ESET NOD32 and have been for quite some years. Itā€™s lean on the system, non-intrusive and works really well.

Then I use MalwareBytes now and then to clear out any harmless installer trojans.

Havenā€™t had a virus or harmful trojan in the last 6-8 years. * knock on wood *

Iā€™ve had viruses that was very hard to clean, so third party antivirus is crucial to me.

As always, practice safe sex when it comes to brief encounters.

Google browser now saves bookmarks in the cloud!

All parts!

Malware Bytes.

Because Itā€™s easy to right-click->exit it in the tooltray when I donā€™t have any browsers open and have already scanned.

Best of both worlds. There when you need it, not when you donā€™t.

It leaves no ā€œsneakyā€ updaters, watchers, etc. when you exit it.

When you exit it, itā€™s like itā€™s not even installed.

I just pin it to the taskbar so that itā€™s easy to relaunch when I open a web browser (or download stuff).

That said, it seems to play nice with Cubase, too. If I forget and leave it running while Cubase is running, it seems not to not cause any performance issues, even on maxed-out projects.

For my browser (chrome) I use Adblock and Ghostery
