Disabling Aero is really the only tweak needed with today’s systems.
we still do quite a few with win 7 no where as many as XP for sure but i would say a good 20-25.
killing all the power mangement crap is a big one if you dont want to see DPC spikes
and FYI we enable Aero peek…

One Service you don’t disable is ‘DCOM Server Process Launcher’, it is essential for the dongle to function.
