I’m just installing LE6 for the first time, i’ve no experience with using recording software. Which soundcard would you recommend for use with LE6 for a beginner please?
I believe requirements are a card capable of recording and playing back digital audio, but i don’t know which ones do this adequately and which are overkill.
Also need an Asio driver?
It doesn’t matter if your a beginner or not when purchasing a sound card, you want to get the best you can afford that will give you the best drivers and lowest Latency. I have the Komplete Audio 6 and I recommend it 100% !
Ipnosakos : IMHO it depends on the Type of computer that your using
How much $$$$$$$$$$ Money that you want to spend etc.
I personally em Biased towards Tascam Products ( I’ve used them since 1975)
and would recommend the US-144 mkii — US-1800 – US-2000
Steinberg makes some great ones
Alesis has one that’s not bad
Focusrite — Presonus are a few others to check out
