Hi,
I am using Cubase 15 with Multiple Monitors and often one of the windows (sometimes the project window, sometimes the mixer) became completely white.
The window gets repopulated if hoover with the mouse or select elements (at random as i cannot see anything).
Has anyone experienced this?
What operating system do you have?
If it is Windows it might be the driver for your graphics card, which is a very common problem, especially with Nvidia adapters. In that case try downloading the latest Nvidia studio drivers for your specific adapter.
In case of Mac… sorry, I don’t know.
Hey Juergen, it is windows and I do have the latest NVIDIA driver installed. Are the STUDIO drivers different from the ones the NVIDIA app installs?
Yes, the typical driver installation is the gaming stuff, which is tuned for extreme high framerates and other details, that are needed in games.
For Cubase this is all not needed, so the recommendation is always to take the Studio drivers and they usually work well.
They do not seem to have any STUDIO drive on the website unfortunatly for my card
Hey Juergen, it’s a NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030
Perhaps it is just a setting…I have sent messages and videos to Steinberg Support (though their ticket system) 20 days ago, but they show no sign of being alive.
Hmm, just tried to find the drivers, but there are just generic “Gameboy ready” drivers for your card.
Does this Adapter have something like Hardware accelaration? Maybe disabling this kind of performance settings helps.
Not much. It is just a basic multi-monitor chard. I disables only a couple of things (the only ones that I could)
