I think the title says it all. After insert I always have to click again to activate the new inserted plugin. One mouse click too much. Is there a preference that I missed?
That is not normal behavior. I can’t think of any preference, when inserting a plug it would automatically become disabled.
Have you opened Cubase in Safe Mode with preferences disabled, and then check?
Constrain delay compensation is deactivated?
Auto record enable on selected channel is disabled too?

When disabling auto record in preferences my inserted plugins are on by default. Thanks for the tip!
