I’ve got a piano part created in the key editor that isn’t displaying like I expect in the score editor. In the bass clef I have a part that is just eight straight 1/8th notes and this displays exactly like I expect - four pairs of beamed 1/8th notes. In the treble clef the rhythm is 1/4 note, 1/8 note, 1/8 rest, 1/4 note, 1/8 note, 1/8 rest. But in the score editor I’m not seeing any rests and the 1/8 notes are displaying as 1/4 notes - so it just looks like four 1/4 notes in a row. In the key editor all the notes are fully quantized to start and end on the 1/8th note grid, so there shouldn’t be any ambiguity about the note lengths. I’m guessing there is some setting I need to change.
I swear the score editor is going to kill me before I sort it all out.
