Why are the main functions of the channelstrip indistinguishable (colorwise).
They are all the dullest grey one can imagine?
Eight confusable buttons with essential functions ( Read,Write, Solo, Mute, Edit,Listen,Record Arm, Monitor)?
Is this unfinished business?
Or is any User-experience driven decision behind that?
I really don’t get that and would like to hear from Steinberg…
It has never been different (colorwise)…

it seems the buttons only light up
in various colours when the corresponding
functions are in an ‘active state’.
