Why are there BOLD and PLAIN fingering font options?

Wondering what the reason is behind having TWO discreet fingering options when either one can be customised any way you desire. Scratching my head on this one.

The ‘Bold’ and ‘Plain’ font options for symbols (of which there are several) usually relate to choosing either a SMuFL music font (where the glyphs are for those particular symbols); or choosing a standard text font, where the symbols are in the normal glyph range for numerals.

SMuFL fonts have no numeral characters, so there needs to be a distinction.

Brilliant! Thanks mate!
