For some reason, even with the Real Time export box ticked off, Cubase forces me to always export in real time. I have 0 external gear plugin in the session, so i don’t understand why. The project i’m working on is 45mn long, and i just want a quick export, and i cannot.

The external plugins are still activated. You need to deactivate the feature. Make sure to save your configuration as a favorite.
so you mean as soon as you have anything set up in the Audio connections, you cannot by pass real time export, even by bypassing external plugins in any channel strip or even not having any plugins in any strips?
Make sure you don’t have external devices inserted on hidden tracks (audio, instrument, or FX).
To further isolate the cause, you may need to create a copy of the project file (.cpr) and remove tracks one-by-one until offline mixdown starts working. That way you’ll determine which track specifically thwarts offline mixdown.
No need to touch anything in audio connections. The cause must be project-specific.
