I did not think of this before I made the purchase, but I bought an iPad Air with only 64 gigs of memory. This is not very much memory, and a significantly lower than the amount of memory I need for cubasis. I was just wondering if the capacity for storage in iCloud would be available at some future update.

Even with iCloud You’d still need to have enough local storage to do recording and editing on a project so it would only serve as temporary offload because as soon as You open or start to work on a project stored in the cloud it would be downloaded back to the device.
What You could do is to export the finished projects and save those exported files in the cloud and when you need to revisit them import them back in into Cubasis.
On devices with lower amount of storage it’s a good idea to frequently clear the undo-history to remove temporary files especially when dealing with audio recordings.
