Why do I suddenly need record shift?

I have been using Nuendo since v2.x… and I have been using it with my various UAD Apollo interfaces for the past many years (5+)… and suddenly, for a reason that is not apparent to me, my tracks are all recorded out of sync. I’ve had to put in a record shift of 2000 to get them to line up correctly.

Is there something I’m missing? Why would I suddenly need to do that when I have never required it before?

Interesting… 2000 what? milliseconds?
Do you have a pre record buffer set for 2 seconds?

I believe it’s 2000 samples… and no, I don’t think I have any pre-record buffer set.

Do you have a limiter on your master buss or any latency inducing plugins in your chain? Have you checked your buffer settings?
