Why do my trill lines look like this?

Hello! Why do my trill lines look like this, with too much space between each wiggly bit?

I found my way into Library > Repeatable Symbols, and I found that the “Repeat Offset” value was set to zero for most of the Wiggle Trills in the left column list, so I adjusted them all until they looked correct - but the spacing is still far too wide on trills in the project.

Any thoughts on how to correct this? Thank you!

I’ve never seen that. I would just reset all your trill settings to defaults.

If you can attach the project itself, I can take a look. Feel free to cut the music down to just a bar or two, using a copy of the project.

What font are you using? It may be that the repeatOffset property in the SMuFL metadata file for the font isn’t set correctly.

I am actually using a combination of fonts, including some custom ones that I tweaked/modified myself… so that could surely be part of the problem. But I’d be more than happy to set my trill marks back to a standard default Dorico font (I’ll have to refresh my memory on how to do that…)

Cut down project link below (file size is more than 4MB, and won’t attach…?) Thanks, @dspreadbury!

Quick update: the wiggle trill font character seems to be Bravura (not one of my custom fonts), so hopefully the SMuFL metadata is set correctly…?
