I have a dual boot system, and I only turn on the RME FF800 (and the other studio stuff) when I boot to the DAW partition.
However, when I have forgotten to turn it on before starting Cubase, I have to reselect the RME AND reselect all the Studio panel sound card channel assignments, whereas the Inputs and Outputs ones are remembered.
I have made all the correct channel assignments part of the Default presets.
WHY?
