why does Cubase7 load up as 32 bit on my Imac

Hi guys.I have a 2011 imac 2.7 ghz i5 which is a 64bit machine but as cubase 7 loads up i notice that its says cubase 7 32bit as it scrolls through the items that are loading.Dont really understand why this is the case,Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted so that it loads up in 64bit mode?Thanks.

Yep there is a setting in the OS, mentioned on the forums several times and IIRC in the Steinberg knowledge base.
You need to untick a “start in 32 bit mode” option somewhere.

Go to the Applications folder, select Cubase, Command+I (get info), uncheck Open in 32-bit Mode
