Can anyone tell me why Dorico doubles tuplets like this? I’m referring to the additional tuplet number over the dotted 8th note in my screenshot below.
Is there a way to turn it off in an engraving setting?

You probably have some other triplet entered there – maybe that dotted eighth is really 3 16ths in the space of 2.
Can you upload a copy of your file that just has this measure?
Yes, I can reproduce this. Select the dotted eighth A and Ctrl/Cmd+click on the 3 to select that as well, and delete them. Then enter an A eighth note.
Edit: @Janus 's way:
You can fix this quicker by first removing the dot, then just delete the tuplet.
You’re my hero! Both you and @Janus! Thank you very much.
Any idea why this happens?
(For context, this is a copied staff from an XML import of an arrangement that was written in the last version of Finale.)
I’d start looking there. There was probably an error in the XML file.
No, certainly. Thank you.
