Why does eg gluing events, turned muted midi notes back on?

Ive never seen this behaviour before so I read the manual…and nothing that I could see after searching for 5 mins so Im hoping someone here knows

I have muted events in a midi part, still tweaking so I leave them in until they are mapped across the arrangment
Bounce midi, glue, drag events unmiutes?
It never did this previously…could someone explain

Cheers

Drag Copy

Hi,

Are the source MIDI Notes really muted? Or are they greyed out, because their position is out of the MIDI Part’s border?

They are intentionally muted as they go out of color when “active part only” excludes them.

I’ve used midi since Atari…im pretty familiar with it and this is yet again more unreliable operation or changes that are so quirky its not funny

It happens dragging, bouncing etc

Tried everything…it originated from a drag drop from a chord track…anyway…another bug only on my machine; never had so many issues since upgrading to i7-127k but cant understand a cpu could impact all of this

Hi,

What kind of process did you apply to the MIDI Notes, that they can be Bounced?

Could you attach the file (you can provide just the single track in the project), so I can take a look, please? You can share it via DM. I still cannot replicate the issue on my side.

You have this tagged as Cubase 12, is it Cubase 12, or 15?

As tagged…12

There is no real incentive for me to move to 15. I will happily pay just to have existing features finished and bugs fixed…

I’m back in studio on Friday…will do
