Why does the Cubase 14 application stop working on my PC when I return from another page?

Cubase deserves your full and undivided attention. It’s a precautionary measure built in by design.
Haha, just kidding… this is probably not on Cubase’s side but has something to do with preferences in your O.S.
Can you explain in detail and provide a few more specs like OS, system and what exactly triggers this behaviour?
In the menu Studio>Studio Setup>Audio System the box “Release Driver when Application is in Background” should be unchecked, if you want Cubase to keep working while you navigate to other windows/programs in your computer.

Yes, I completly forgot about this setting as I never ever touched it… Thanks for chiming in
