In Windows 11, the first few bars of this piece crash NPPE about 1/3 of the time. Do you see anything wrong here that would cause it? This is filtered to show only instruments that play in these bars.
Maybe the glissandi? You could try deleting those - otherwise it’s probably hard to tell what’s wrong without the file.

By the way, I have 32GB on this PC, and with Dorico, NPPE, and the VSTs running, about 45% of memory is in use. That seems high, but Vienna is notorious for memory use.
Not sure why you think VSL is heavy on memory. That’s the opposite of my experience.
First of all, I love VSL. My memory comment has no scientific foundation. I just recall maxing out memory with it on older machines.
