Why doesn't Melodic Pattern Seq. follow Chord Track like MIDI parts do?

With normal MIDI parts we can set them to follow the Chord Track, so the same part will get transposed and constrained to the relevant key & scale, which is great!

But in case of Melodic Pattern Sequencer the chords need to be dragged in, and therefore are fixed in time.

Why is that? Are there any plans on bringing them up to par with regular MIDI parts?
