I have a good Mac, and Cubase, but it is all the time doing this, the Audio Performance monitor is clipping, going upp for full.
What can I do about it, any suggestion?
Hi can you post a ss of your studio settings?
Hi,
What Audio Deice and Bufefr Size do you use?
Hi!
I have a Behringer X32 Producer, buffersize 256.
I include a couple of ss and hope that there is something that you folks can help me understand why it is peaking with only just one VSTi.
The only thing that might be odd in my setup is that I have 4 monitors, but should it really do this?

Hi,
Your Buffer Size is definitely very low (just 8ms of latency). Try to increase it, please.
Hi!
I really don’t think the buffer size and latency is very low, I think the Mac would be strong enough to handle it with the X32.
In recording sessions, I do really need that low latency to not get strange looks from the singer/musicians.
When I’m mixning i often get up on the buffer size.
But when I record I think that my Mac should deal with this. But…, maybee I’m wrong, maybee Cubase-Mac is not doing it better together…
But…, sometimes (with the same buffer size) and more VSTi and plug-ins, there are less spikes and the meters are lower. So I really don’t think that it is the buffer size alone, because both the Asio Guard and Peak is “pumping” high up while I don’t do anything on the computer. But once again, I do not know what it could be. The Mac is just about 1 year old, and everything is updated.
