On iPad Air M4, latest version of Cubasis. The more i zoom out to the see whole project the lighter all the regions get, to the point where I cant really see the waveforms.
Why cant using this app be easy. It’s no end of issues and bugs.

Hi @Davebass5,
Please provide some more details about the issue. We haven’t been able to reproduce it so far, so it would be helpful if you could share the exact steps required to trigger it. Feel free to include a video as well, along with information about your operating system, Cubasis version, and device.
Best,
Lars
Sorry for the late reply.
It seems that the further out I was zooming (so I can see the whole 2 hour project in the main window), the fainter the colours became. As I zoom in they become stronger.
Hi @Davebass5
Thanks for your message.
Please provide us with a clip that shows the steps to reproduce the issue.
Thanks
Lars
I’ll try and do it over the weekend. I can see whats happening now. The grid lines are creating a white out as the timeline is zoomed so far out. Is there a way to not have them displayed?
Hi @Davebass5
Thanks for your message.
It’s not possible to disable the grid lines, but you may experiment choosing other grid settings.
Best,
Lars
I’m Coming back to this as i have got the same project open on my phone 17pro and dont get the issue i do on my iPad. Surely this is not right. The grid lines sit behind the regions on my phone but on top on my iPad. I have this turned off in settings as well.
If i turn on grid lines to be on top on my iPhone i get the same result, but it’s turned off on the iPad and I’m still getting them on top.
Hi @Davebass5,
Please share a screen recording showing the steps leading to the problem, so we can reproduce it on our end.
Thanks,
Lars
Actually dont worry. I have deleted and reinstalled it and its now working as it should. The issue was 100% Gridline’s were stuck on top of the regions and I couldnt get them to go behind without reinstalling. The more I zoomed out the more the lines obscured the region waveforms.
Its now working as it should (other than my Dawproject issue)
Hi @Davebass5,
Thanks for the update, glad to read that you’ve been able to resolve the issue.
Best,
Lars
