I was analyzing some recordings and noticed for 880hz Wavelab says this is an A4 when it should be A5.

There was a bug since a long time ago, (I remember since 2003) when you detect pitch in WL (find current pitch of audio selection) it provided value an octave lower.
Why is A3 440 Hz in WL?
Thanks @PG1 I missed this setting.
Why this value being used as default though?
This may have been something to do with Yamaha and Roland.
I always assumed that was about which note is used for middle C and not which frequencies reprensent each note.
Please make A3 220 or A4 440 as default in WL
Also, please consider incorporating find pitch in pitch shift process in Montage.
