- Why is there always a sound like firecrackers in Cobase?

Sound card buffer has been debugged, 256 buffer is not a problem, why? I’m win10 system, I’m really crazy!

Hi and welcome on the forum,

This is how all DAW work. They need time to process the signal. If you get more time (increase the buffer size), the CPU can process it. If CPU doesn’t have enough time, it doesn’t deliver the result, so you get drop-out.

No, I used cubase11 this year. It’s terrible. There will always be stutters, flashbacks, and firecrackers. I really don’t know why. I’m a genuine cubase11. My computer is a win system. Shadow elf 6, i7, 30g of memory. I want to ask if anyone can solve this problem for me?

Hi,

Could you test your system by using LatencyMon utility, please?
