So as expected, somethings decided to break along the USB/dongle/activation chain and seen fit to thus ‘deactivate’ my eLicenser. Now Cubase wont open or allow me to use the box supplied Activation Codes (either the Cubase 4 or 5 or 6 upgrades) =/
Error message (in Engrish [sic]) via the eLicenser Controller =
“Currently, there is no license available which can be upgraded by your upgrade license. Please connect an USB-eLicenser, which holds an appropriate upgradable license, to your computer.”
So as Ive said, I inputted all the activation codes I can find but to no avail… yet Steinberg decide to display with the error message no text/options on how to potentially resolve my predicament = huh! nice one Steinberg Dev team!
So Im here wondering whether anyone could please assist or advise me as Im lost
