Why my midi editor sounds 3 half-tons lower ?

Hi everyone,

I don’t know why my midi editor sounds three half-tons lower. For example, when I click on a D note, it plays a H.
Here is a screenshot (right windows).

Sounds like you are inadvertently transposing your MIDI data somewhere.

The 2 most likely places:

  1. Look at the the MIDI Modifiers tab in the Track’s Inspector & see if it is transposed there.
  2. Select the MIDI Part in the Project Window and then check the Info Line to see if it is transposed there.

Looking at Transposer on your screenshot is 5 demi-tons shouldn’t this be zero. ?

Wow, you’ve got way better eyesight than I do. Yes it should be zero to not transpose.
