I wonder why there isn’t a I/O selector for VST like in Cubase (or even better, a full I/O matrix like in Reaper)
in Wavelab. Would be nice e.g. when trying to do M/S encoding a stereo file (panning the M/S components L/R), then
use different mono/stereo VST instances (since many EQs etc don’t allow separate L/R stereo channel ops) on the
individual channels and decode M/S back to stereo again …
This might also be a quick fix for the users that have problems with upmix plugins that are trying to
use 2 input channels and 6 output channels.
I hope to implement this type of functionality in the future.
