Why so many "suggestions"

Those were your own words so you are contradicting yourself now

What’s that about? Contradicting myself? Where?
Start a sensible quiet thread and for a few posts have a decent conversation and then the lies start in from nowhere.
Are these people mental? They need to get a life.
I’d better end this I really haven’t the time to tell the clueless exactly what’s up with them.

It’s just another “suggestion” with no body to it. Just looks like another attempt to pick a fight…

I don’t think every FR is an attempt to pick a fight.

No need to call anyone a liar, at worst I’m misunderstanding but that’s far from a synonym for lying.

Do you ever notice the irony in any of your statements Conman? :unamused:

For the sake of having a decent conversation I actually asked, “What forums did you research?” No reply. Again, most DAW forums have dedicated feature request boards full of suggestions, so I was wondering where you “researched”.

The list goes on and on so your “research” seems incomplete… or quite cursory, or created for some other purpose.

Among those, how did you measure “noticeably fewer?” It actually looks like many more to me, which makes perfect sense given that people are directly encouraged to do that by the mere existence of an FR board.

Strikes me as a contradiction in a way because Cubase has already got more features than the competition:

That only seems true to me if you carefully cherry pick, unless (which I assume is the case here) you actually don’t know what features the competition has or you choose to dismiss anything Cubase doesn’t yet have as being a valid feature.

Not agruing, just disagreeing with that premise.

Nah. You’re just a whinging kiddie who wants everything.

That’s a joke btw…

I suggest a feature request question box built in to Cubase… So we care argue about improving it!

Good.

As long as its one of those nice, tall rectangular shaped boxes - none of your silly ‘square’ nonsense please… I mean, this is 2012…

PS:- at a push, I could live with ‘widescreen’

EDIT - sorry conman; very off topic there for a minute…!

Back on topic, are you posting your results as Audiocave requested…? That was kind of him to post his research, wasn’t it… ok, well I for one am thankful; it immediately helped give this thread some evidenced standpoint. Depending on your response, this may or may not now be even worth further debate…

The devil is in the detail: oh, and that was one of your main points too - or more accurately, a lack of detail in those ‘suggestion’ posts…

Hey Conman:

I have absolutely no problems with feature requests.
It’s a great feedback resource for the Developers.
Something that was not possible in the post internet age.
So this is a good thing.

There are downsides offcourse having this open Forum on the internet. For instance posts from people like you Conman who just want to debate trivial stuff to get post counts or because they are bored, or have no life, I don’t know exactly the reason but I don’t find it very contributive at all.

Why not post some music? Put in a signature? Network for projects? Put a normal picture so we can see who you are? I mean you do a lot of posting but who are you anyway? What do you do? What sort of music do you make?
You will not be taken seriously without a proper background and a picture of an annoying cat.
And I am amazed that you don’t see that.

Do you know something we don’t Sir?

OMG,Hopefully Split doesn’t spot this thread  , I have issues with post and pre…

lol, I read straight past that

Should that not be pre and post

Come on Conman… why run away…? Spill the goods man; what research on what other sites, exactly…? Audiocave posted his results, without any prompting… where’s yours…?
