in the joined composition I do not understand why apply hide staff for the bass clef in the accordeon part doesnt do it.
in a earlyer version all was good.

In this project you have chord symbols showing above the accordion grand staff, but you’ve achieved that by setting the Layout Option for chord symbols to show above the top of the system.
You have Engraving Options > Chord Symbols > Position set to show chord symbols between the staves of grand staff instruments rather than above them. This Engraving Option prevents the bottom staff from hiding.
