Widen a mono vocal track?

still in mono.

I can barely get one vocal track right. What makes you think I can get 3?

Just kidding. I know you were stating your preferences.

Hahaha… Good point, they do need to be tracked tight :stuck_out_tongue:

Thats where a good engineer/producer (other than the artist) comes in handy and can take a whole load of work off a single engineer/producer/artist and provide independent feedback.

I used a cloner Friday night for part of a vocal treatment. I don’t use it all that often, but it worked well.

My only advise other than specific techniques is to be strategic in how you create and shape the spatial of the vocal. This strategy is formed by the consideration of the mix in its entirety and the concept of how all the individual elements will work together. If this is not considered, the treatment of the vocal may be turned stereo, but in context be too separate from the the body of the song, beautifully decapitated.
