Will Cubase 10.0.60 update overwrite 10.0.40?

Hi,

I’ve just downloaded the latest 10.0.60 version of Cubase 10 and am wondering when I install this will it overwrite my older 10.0.40 version or will it install a completely new version?

10.0.40 and 10.0.60 are both Cubase 10.0, so It will of course overwrite 10.0.40. 10.5.xx is a completely new version

Some DAWS allow you to keep ALL version you install, not so with Cubase

Better back up 10.0.40 first

FYI… if running on a Windows PC it is pretty easy to remove the upgrade and go back to the previous version.
